Cancellation / No-Show Agreement

Due to limited availability on our calendar, we request that you cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment. This gives us the opportunity to fill your slot should you not be able to keep the appointment. Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, or no-shows, are subject to be forfeited.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to a medical or other personal situation. Appointments cancelled by Heart's Content Dog Training will always be allowed to be rescheduled.

Expiration & refund Agreement

Coaching packages are designed to be completed within 30 days, and must be completed within 90 days of package purchase. After that date, packages will expire. 

One month of day training is designed to be completed within 30 days, and must be completed within 60 days of package purchase. After that date, packages will expire.

When you purchase a training package, you are holding a spot in our calendar to provide the best service possible to you. We hope you’ll take advantage of our time together, but if you do not for any reason, we unfortunately cannot provide a refund.

We will work with you to the best of our ability to accommodate schedules, and in extenuating circumstances (such as dog rehoming, illness, etc.), previously paid training sessions will graciously be refunded.

Training Agreement

All Heart's Content Dog Training clients are expected to:

Attend our scheduled appointments in a timely manner and be fully prepared to participate.

Remain within the training methodology of positive reinforcement. Any deviation of training techniques outside of positive reinforcement, such as the use of aversive tools like bark collars, prong collars, invisible fences, etc. can and will change the expected results of training. If you resort to methods which are not condoned by the trainer, your lessons may be forfeited based on the trainer’s judgement.

Liability Waiver

Heart's Content Dog Training will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for training of my dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training, and training instructions. However, I recognize that Heart's Content Dog Training is not responsible for any unintentional errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions. I understand that the recommendation of any other product or service is not a guarantee of my

satisfaction with that product or service. Further, I am and will always remain responsible for the actions of my dog and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heart's Content Dog Training of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while under Heart's Content Dog Training instruction or control and under my own care as a result of the following training instructions. I have been told by Heart's Content Dog Training and understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to myself or others.
